Depot Town Bike Nights
When: Every Tuesday throughout the year
Where: Cross Street/Depot Town
Motorcycles line Cross Street in Ypsilanti’s Depot Town every Tuesday (weather permitting) throughout the year. Check out 100 vintage & contemporary bikes, grab some grub, and stroll through Depot Town.


Downtown Ypsilanti Farmers Market
When: Every Tuesday May-October
Where: 16 S. Washington St.
Growing Hope’s Downtown Ypsilanti Farmers Market aims to increase access to fresh and healthy food while supporting our local economy and developing our downtown. Come down every Tuesday and stock up on locally grown and crafted foods and enjoy live music.


Depot Town Cruise Nights
When: Every Thursday June thru September
Where: Cross Street/Depot Town
Depot Town rocks on Thursday evenings during Cruise Nights when hundreds of visitors stroll the length of Cross Street to check out classic cars, hot rods, and customs. It’s also a perfect time to sit at one of the several sidewalk restaurants, grab a bit to eat and watch the cars roll in.


FFYFirst Fridays Ypsilanti
When: First Friday of the month
Where: Ypsilanti Area
First Fridays provides Ypsilanti’s rich community of local artists, business-venues, and citizens the invigorating opportunity to cross-promote each other on a monthly basis. Participating business include FLY Children’s Art Center, Bona Sera Cafe, The Ugly Mug, Beezy’s Cafe and more.


Depot Town Farmers Market

Where: Freighthouse Plaza
Run by Growing Hope, the Depot Town Farmers Market aims to increase access to fresh and healthy food while supporting our local economy and developing our community. With around 40 vendors each day, selling a large variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, home goods and more, you won’t want to miss out on this great weekly market.

Experience the funnest 5k you’ll ever participate in. The Color Run allows runners and walkers of all ages to enjoy a 5k with the freedom of going at your own pace, all while getting covered in color!

The Milan Community Fair returns for it’s annual installment. This years fair will feature live music, artisans and service tent, the 3rd Annual Milan Karaoke Contest as well as a baby contest.

What: Cinetopia Film Festival
Where: Michigan Theater
Experience more than 40 of the best feature-length dramas, comedies, and documentaries from the world’s best film festivals, including Sundance, Cannes, Venice, Toronto, and Berlin – all selected exclusively for Cinetopia by the Michigan Theater programming team.

What: Dexter-Ann Arbor Run
Where: Dexter-Ann Arbor Area
The hills, trees and backwoods riverbanks of Michigan’s Huron River Drive are the setting for the annual Dexter to Ann Arbor Run, a road race event with a half-marathon, a 10K, a 5K and a kids fun run that takes runners on a course exactly as its name suggests.

Ya’ssoo Greek Festival
Where: Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church
Featuring Greek cuisine and homemade pastries, live Greek music and entertainment, dancing, and an Agora marketplace.

What: Downtown African American Festival
Where: Downtown Ann Arbor
The Downtown African American Festival annually pays tribute to the Historic Black Business District of Ann Arbor through music, art, theatre, dance, poetry, crafts, merchandise, food, and kids’ activities.

What: Chelsea Painters Art Fair
Where: In the Courtyard at Silver Maples of Chelsea
The Chelsea Painters Art Fair is held the first full weekend of June each year in Chelsea, Michigan. This event is popular among collectors of fine art and draws visitors from Michigan, Indiana and Ohio, with many returning year after year to see the latest work by member artists.

The best traditional hot rods and customs are back at the Milan Dragway. You have to come check out the great vendors and sickest 1964 and prior do-it-yourself traditional rods, customs, and motorcycles on the planet!

What: Ann Arbor Restaurant Week
Where: Ann Arbor Area
Allow yourself the chance to be able to sample some of the best of what Ann Arbor has to offer in it’s dining district. With fixed menus and prices, you can stop at one or all of the participating restaurants to get a taste of what they’ve got to offer.

What: Ann Arbor Book Festival
Where: Ingalls Mall
A festival for the book lovers of the world. Come and check out books of all kinds and see if you can add to your collection or find a new book for those lazy Sunday’s.

What: German Park Picnic
Where: German Park | Ann Arbor
The German Park Recreation Club hosts three picnics the last Saturday in June, July, and August. Admission gate open 4–9 pm; Park closes at 11 pm. Featuring live music, authentic German food and beer, live German dance performances.
