Depot Town Bike Nights
When: Every Tuesday throughout the year
Where: Cross Street/Depot Town
Motorcycles line Cross Street in Ypsilanti’s Depot Town every Tuesday (weather permitting) throughout the year. Check out 100 vintage & contemporary bikes, grab some grub, and stroll through Depot Town.

 

 

Downtown Ypsilanti Farmers Market
When: Every Tuesday May-October
Where: 16. S. Washington St.
Growing Hope’s Downtown Ypsilanti Farmers Market aims to increase access to fresh and healthy food while supporting our local economy and developing our downtown. Come down every Tuesday and stock up on locally grown and crafted foods and enjoy live music.

 

Depot Town Cruise Nights
When: Every Thursday June thru September
Where: Cross Street/Depot Town
Depot Town rocks on Thursday evenings during Cruise Nights when hundreds of visitors stroll the length of Cross Street to check out classic cars, hot rods, and customs. It’s also a perfect time to sit at one of the several sidewalk restaurants, grab a bit to eat and watch the cars roll in.

 

FFYFirst Fridays Ypsilanti
When: First Friday of the month
Where: Ypsilanti Area
First Fridays provides Ypsilanti’s rich community of local artists, business-venues, and citizens the invigorating opportunity to cross-promote each other on a monthly basis. Participating business include FLY Children’s Art Center, Bona Sera Cafe, The Ugly Mug, Beezy’s Cafe and more.

 

Depot Town Farmers Market
When: Every Saturday May-October
Where: Freighthouse Plaza
Run by Growing Hope, the Depot Town Farmers’ Market aims to increase access to fresh and healthy food while supporting our local economy and developing our community. With around 40 vendors each day, selling a large variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, home goods and more, you won’t want to miss out on this great weekly market.

July 4
What: Ypsilanti Independence Day Parade
Where: Ypsilanti Area
American Legion Post 282 and Ypsilanti Jaycees are hosting the Ypsilanti Independence Parade, which will begin on the corner of Oakwood and Cross and ends at Rice Street in Ypsilanti’s Historic Depot Town.

 

 

July 8-9
What: Michigan Elvis Fest
Where: Riverside Park
Elvis returns to Riverside Park for yet another explosive Elvis Fest. This two day festival features Elvis performances all weekend long and entertainment and fun for the whole family.

 

 

July 22-23
What: Michigan Brewers Guild Summer Beer Festival
Where: Riverside Park
Where else can you have the chance to enjoy 400+ different types of beers from over 50 different breweries inside the state of Michigan?! The Summer Beer Festival returns to Riverside Park.

July 8
What: Rolling Sculpture Car Show
Where: Downtown Ann Arbor
Ann Arbor shows off it’s wheels with the Rolling Sculpture in beautiful downtown. Come check out cars of all shapes, sizes and makes as owners polish up the wheels and show off that fresh coat of wax.

July 8-9

Saline Celtic Festival
Where: Millpond Park
The Saline Celtic Festival in Millpond Park features two days of Celtic music and dance entertainment, workshops, sporting events, and much more for the whole family!

July 21-24
What: Ann Arbor Art Fair
Where: Downtown Ann Arbor
The world famous Ann Arbor Art Fair returns for more arts, entertainment, eats, and fun. This four day event is packed full of anything and everything arts.

July 21
What: Manchester Chicken Broil

Where: Alumni Memorial Field, Manchester
Serving up approximately 12,000 meals of chicken in just a four hour time span, the Manchester Chicken Broil calls Alumni Memorial Field home once a year in July. Net proceeds from this event are used to benefit a variety of causes in the Manchester area.

July 28-30
What: Chelsea Sounds and Sights Festival
Where: Downtown Chelsea
The two-day, three-night event features live music and social tent, children’s entertainment and activities, a classic car show, open-air art market, and much more.

July 30
What: German Park Picnic
Where: German Park | Ann Arbor
The German Park Recreation Club hosts three picnics the last Saturday in June, July, and August. Admission gate open 4–9 pm; Park closes at 11 pm. Featuring live music, authentic German food and beer, live German dance performances.
